We have trained 38 @SRCS_SD volunteers from Bahri and Omdurman on the management of the dead. The training aims at building the capacity to manage human remains with respect and dignity, and to maximize the future identification of dead bodies by competent authorities.

The ICRC #Sudan regularly conducts IHL trainings for state and non-state armed carriers to raise awareness about the rules and principles of IHL. From September to November 2023, we organized IHL sessions, trainings, and workshops for over 2500 members of the SAF in Kassala.
