We’re closed January 2-7 because I’ve experienced the worst behavior from patrons I’ve ever had and it’s not even the end of the holidays. I’m sick and tired of putting up with it. If you think this post is about you maybe you should be nicer to service industry workers.
Florida restaurant owner says on Fox Business that Bud Light partnering with a trans person has led to "the most difficult two weeks we've ever experienced in our life."
Ohio officials: The waters safe to drink!!! It’s fine!!!! Drink on up guys!!!!
Cincinnati Water Works: *240 miles away from crash site closing their water intake due to the contaminated water coming down stream*
Today at 5:30 there will be mental health services provided in conjunction with Talbert House and The City of Cincinnati for service industry in OTR who have been effected by gun violence.
The subway tunnels should be open to tours. These tours should financially back our street car expansion into the West End, Mohawk and Clifton along with of course us using federal transit funding to expand it cause our neighbors deserve fare free transit in the urban basin
We’re located in a city where the elected local government is rated one of the most corrupt in the country and the real “local government” is a development company
This might be my business account and my posts might seem “unprofessional” to some but let me tell ya if you dislike me on the internet you’ll hate my bar in real life even more.
In light of today’s protest I want to remind everyone- 1. I have water available 2. Restrooms available 3. First aid kits 4. If you feel unsafe, feel free to come here
As we make our way back into “normal” for restaurants and bars just a quick reminder that it’s still not cool to grab or touch your server or bartender for any reason
Remember, when you go to vote in the
@CityOfCincy
council elections this year that the democrats picked by Hamilton County Democrats want to sell the Cincinnati Railroad to the company who did this.
Light Ohio Blue week is next week! To show your support for law enforcement replace your current exterior porch light with a blue light bulb and shine bright for our family in Blue.

Quick reminder that tax payers are out $134 million dollars for one year of fire department services, a department that does not create revenue because it’s a city service. Public transportation similarly isn’t make to create revenue, it’s made to help people access the city
@HubOtr
Taxpayers are out $149 million in capital for the streetcar, plus millions more of annual operating expenses. The $0/yr of fares won't be doing much to help balance those costs.
Hey
@JohnCranley
, remember in 2002 when you opposed Metro Moves which would have built this light rail system and expanded bus service? Here’s a map to help you remember Mr. Infrastructure
tonight during blink the main attraction on Main will be me with an air horn and megaphone yelling at the cars who don’t yield to pedestrians at the main and 12th crosswalk
Just had a man speed up and almost hit me in the cross walk at 12th and Main. Threaten to get out of his car if I didn’t “watch where I was walking”. Raised crosswalks won’t help this issue. Creating actual pedestrian infrastructure and telling drivers to go f*ck themselves might
Sheriff Jones is a law & order conservative. He knows we’re fighting a battle on two fronts: defending Ohio’s values from the radical left, and defending America from the invasion on our border.
I’m glad to have

in the fight, and I’m proud to earn his endorsement.
Guys, please be patient we are just unable to handle all your reservations at once! No need to be angry, there’s always next year. See you in 4 ish hours!
I won’t be taking anymore phone calls/messages/etc for at minimum today. I wanted to tell people what we’ve been experiencing because I want to shine a light on how what we’ve seen. Please stop calling my phone and/or trying to contact me via social media 🧡 logging off
Lindsey Swadner, owner of The Hub, a bar at 12th and Main, wants her bartenders to get mental health help following mass shooting on Main in OTR. Vice Mayor
@KearneyForCincy
assured her the city would help.

SO BASICALLY THE CITY PUT UP BARRIERS ON SIDEWALKS TO “STOP GUN VIOLENCE” BUT THAT ISNT A KNOWN METHOD IN STOPPING GUN VIOLENCE AND IT HASNT SOLVED A SINGLE THING BUT REDUCING TRAFFIC AND STREET CALMING DOES HAVE TIES TO REDUCED GUN VIOLENCE SO I THINK WE SHOULD DO THAT BY…
@HubOtr
When my tax dollars funded/are funding/will fund something; I'll gripe about what I am damned well please. Particularly when it was sold to us with lies.
For anyone asking “why are they waiting till after the holidays to shut down”, it’s quite simple. I already told our regulars, many who don’t have anywhere to go for the holidays, that I would be open. They’ve been there for me so I’m here for them- it’s that simple.
Hi everyone, sadly we had a positive covid test come back. We’re closed and will update when we’re open again with all staff testing negative and clear.
Just a quick reminder that this man made a city wide curfew in order to arrest protestors, many of whom still have not had their charges dropped by the city due to this order.
In the summer of 2020, Cincinnati witnessed some of the largest protests in history as a result of the murder of George Floyd. Part Six of State of the City reflects on those protests and the efforts we are taking to make our city more equitable and just.
Lmao. A person who doesn’t live down here wants a say in how it’s planned? Incredible. When will you park there? Once a month? Should we demo buildings and refuse to build more housing in a housing crisis for your car you’ll park here once a month?
Laura Strietmann, Cincinnati Right to Life leader, on the 10-year-old girl who was raped and went to Indiana for an abortion:
"While a pregnancy might have been difficult on a 10-year-old body, a woman's body is designed to carry life."
OH State Rep. Miranda (D) shuts her down.
Every tourist that comes into the bar we always ask, “why did you visit Cincinnati?” And every-time it’s “I just saw how great your parking lots were and how many there are and needed to come see them!”
“It has detrimental surface runoff effects and heat island effects. I want to create a city that’s irresistible for people to live in and visit. People do not visit cities for (parking lots).”
Thank you for all our new followers this week. My name is The Hub. I hate our mayor for very valid reasons and think he’s the biggest dweeb to step foot in Cincinnati. Our city has a 40% child poverty rate and John here loves developers more than his constituents.
Thank you to all our new followers this past week. My name is John Cranley. I'm the Democratic Mayor of Cincinnati. Our city is on a comeback and leading on issues like green energy. RT & follow to stay up to date on our work here in Ohio.
i wish that WOKE MOB would stop telling us so WASH OUR HANDS before we SERVE DRINKS AND FOOD TO PEOPLE what I do with my body is protected by HIPPA which comes from GOD
You think it's gotten harder/pricier to find a place to live in Over-the-Rhine and CBD/45202?
Well—There are now nearly 500 short term rentals there—and almost every one is a "whole home", not just a room.
Those are homes where neighbors could live + people could vote.
I’m not listening to anything the local democrats have to say about endorsements ✨ y’all said my neighbors don’t deserve affordable housing, well you don’t deserve my vote. Thanks ✨
