Lani Guinier was the first African-American woman to be tenured and a monumental presence at Harvard Law School. She devoted her life to justice, equality, empowerment, and democracy.
Before coming to Harvard Law, Destiny Ogedegbe LL.M. '23 founded a non-profit focused on stimulating intellectual endeavors and promoting education in Africa.

Julián Castro ’00 has been named the Klinsky Professor of Practice for Leadership and Progress. This fall he'll teach a class on the challenges and opportunities of urban communities. Castro stopped by HLS earlier this week to meet with students.
