300,000 people in Wales signing a petition against a policy of the Cardiff Bay Government is an astonishing development. Whatever the merits of the 20mph policy itself, it shows people are finally engaging with Welsh politics - which is long overdue.

Seeing the London media tie themselves in knots over the use of Welsh place names is fascinating. To see them trying to make out that it's a "woke plot" of some sort sort is bizarre. There's nothing more conservative than Independence for Wales.
