Nah it made perfect sense, Zuko learned the dragons’ Firebending and was then able to comfortably match Azula at the Boiling Rock and Air Temple. Zuko was genuinely confident here while Iroh hadn’t seen Zuko’s post-dragon bending but ofc, better safe than sorry.

Finally watched in theaters. Fun fun fun, incredibly choreography, action, on-point Dragon Ball comedy and vibes. Possibly my favorite Dragon Ball film ever, a genuinely great anime action flick. The dub was surprisingly great too, loved Pan and Magenta! 8/10
