You know what’s funny, is she may have NEVER had anyone tell her that she is ugly.
She may have just witnessed the adoration of girls that don’t look like her.
People think kids don’t pick up on that kind of stuff. But they are highly intuitive.
Representation matters!

It’s important that we highlight all types of beauty. It used to make me feel a way to watch music videos, when I was younger, and never see black men choose women that look like me.
That’s why I appreciate artists who normalize the appeal of various tones.
Your concept of normalcy is defined by what you see. It is imperative that black people see romantic love modeled in front of them.
Thank you

The crazy thing is, using filters, have become the standard for how we see people. Khloe is by no means, ugly. It’s just drastic.
It changed her hair!!!😳

Black people still subscribe to colonialists ideals of beauty. But we have a unique opportunity in today’s world (all the beauty pageant queen are black) to celebrate beauty in various shades

I dunno🤔 is it an industry thing or what? She is a beautiful girl who could have her fair share of seemingly great men. But she chooses a man that is notoriously toxic.
Why come?
