Burma Army has dropped four bombs in the Day Pu No area of Papun District in eastern Karen State, Burma. There are civilian casualties reported.
The Burma Army ground attacks have continued unabated in Papun, Nyaunglebin and Thaton districts of northern Karen State, displacing now a total of over 24,000 people, killing Saw Kyi Bu, a 60-year-old man, and wounding 11-year-old Naw Mee Mee and five others this past week.

Burma Army airstrikes killed three villagers and wounded eight in bombing attack on Day Pu No area of Papun District in eastern Karen State, Burma.
Ranger Killed as He Defended Civilians
We are sad to inform you all that we lost one of our Karenni Rangers last week. All Lo Sein was killed by the Burma Army on 27 May as he was rescuing civilians trapped under fire by the Burma Army in Demoso Town.
Photos show a Burma Air Force attack helicopter flying over Thaton District, south of Papun District, and damage to homes and fields by Burma Army mortars as they attacked in Thaton District.
27 April 2021 Update on the bombings today:
The Burma military jets that bombed Karen villages in Butho area of Papun District today dropped a total of 5 bombs but the bombs all landed outside the villages and there were no casualties.

More than 100 IDPs at Ei Tu Hta crossed to the Thai side, mostly pregnant women, elderly people, children and sick people. This morning there were three airstrikes between Dagwin and Ei Htu Hta IDP camps.
Today, Nov. 3, our Kachin cameraman and medic from Burma, Zau Seng, was killed today by an FSA/Turkish Army mortar strike that hit our CCP. Our Iraqi coordinator was also wounded. Thank you for your prayers during this time.
There are over 40,000 people displaced by attacks of the Burma Army with daily mortar and machine-gun attacks; villagers’ farms and homes are hit and villagers continue to be hit. Saw Kit Mae, 32 yrs old, is one of the villagers wounded and he is now being treated at our clinic.

25 August 2021: A Karenni Ranger Team completed a mission program in Kaung Htu Village IDP camp, in Phe Khon Township, Karenni State. The total number of IDPs in this location is 307, with 185 people from Los Lon Village and 122 people from Set Daw Village.

Burmese Military Uses Attack Helicopters to Bomb Karenni State:
Yesterday, 14:00 to 19:00, the Burmese military used attack helicopters to bomb Daw Poe Sei, Pa Kang, Mai Lone, and Ywa Da Sha villagers.
Two Kachin Rangers Pass Away from Sickness
We are very sad to report the loss of two of our Kachin Rangers to illness this past week. Du Du and Maran Brang Awng are both very missed and we mourn their loss.
