@t0mrichards How much of a breakdown do you want? You gonna pay me for the time to sit and itemise everything. Most people want breakdowns so they can go and buy everything themselves thinking they are saving money and in turn make it worse by getting wrong stuff and delaying the job.

Bathroom completed In Glasgow🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 This one was a serious upheaval and difficult. Had a horrible storage spot for the tanks and water and I wasn’t accepting a horrible slap over cupboard. Honestly what a job especial for 3 flights up in a block of flats

Customers asked us to create them a bespoke walk in bath.. Truth be told I’ve actually never seen one in the UK before and this is how far I have got with it.. Next up 18mm ply the. 12mm Jacko board it. Going to create a pop up drain on the left corner so customer drain.

Just went to do a gas safety.. tennant has no gas and told me she would need to wait 2 weeks till payday before she can pay for it. We send billions on aid to other country’s but can’t simply look after our own. That was a painful listen.

The Glasgow Tenement Bathroom 🤩🖤 2 flights up, a complete rip out, re framed the ceiling, had to support and re frame the sub floor, strap and re sheet either side of the walls and box in 2 cast pipes aswell as fit that monster bath! Cost to make a tenement right is insane!

We always give ball park quotes before attending to gauge budgets. Unfortunately customers don’t always understand that quoting time is mainly done in our own personal time with that said it’s also extremely common for customers to completely ignore us once we’ve sent a quote🙃

Truthfully it’s a very mentally draining job. Constantly worrying but gas leaks or water leaks. Faulty products then you’ve got customers to worry about, plus jobs over running and constantly under pressure. Even being employed in the trades is still stressful So massive impact
