Removal of standards at professional schools is going to increase subtle racism. If Harvard MD doesn’t mean guy had great MCAT scores, people will insist on the white or Asian surgeon over the black one. People will want the Jewish lawyer. People will do this and never admit it.

January 6 is the first insurrection I'm aware of where no one showed up with weapons. The revolutionaries were apparently supremely confident in their persuasive capacities. People are getting 30 year prison sentences for this non-violence.

Singapore has tried to encourage women to have more children - through subsidies/grants/tax breaks - all the things discussed in West. But its fertility rate per woman is stuck at 1.0. None of these policy tweaks work. People in affluent leisure societies don’t want to have kids.

Just musing on how John Mearsheimer was against the Iraq war, warned about fallout of intervention in Libya, predicted current Ukraine conflict 8 yrs ago if West didn’t change course. But instead of listening to guy who’s been right all the time - we have Blinken/Nuland/McFaul…

When the history of this age is written, I think someone like Jon Stewart or Bill Maher will have central places. These are political people who hid behind jokes. Became Walter Cronkite for millennials, but rejected any responsibility by claiming humor whenever they were called…

If you wage a war on cops for over a decade, make it impossible to do the job, smear them as racists, don’t be surprised if good cops leave, and potentially good cops never sign up. There will be all kinds of externalities.

Cell phones have made the MSM narrative on crime untenable. We've all seen the videos of 50 people swarming the Walgreens and stealing every Hostess snack, bag of chips, etc. in the place. But makes me wonder how long this has been going on, and media just hid it from us.

Honestly this is a reason why Alan Keyes lost, and couldn’t get anywhere in his POTUS campaigns. You don’t win by showing how smart you are and parsing words this way. Sure he was smarter than Obama. But going around saying ‘Hope and Change’ was a winner. And ‘Make America Great…

That time Barack Obama was rebuked by Alan Keyes on same-sex marriage, using Natural Law. This debate was held on October 26, 2004, when both were running for office to be a State Senator in Illinois.

Boeing was already a basket case before DEI. Problems started when it moved to Chicago and deemphasized its engineers and manufacturing base in the Seattle area for financial engineering. For instance - in 2009 Boeing’s 787 missed its ‘first flight’ at the Paris Air Show after…

You read a red-blooded 17 yr old male football player banged his 20-something teacher, and you call her a ‘rapist.’ Can’t we just live in reality? He managed a boner in the Pizza Hut parking lot but is a ‘rape victim.’ I don’t know who these morons are, but they’re terrible…

For every white guy denied an academic post, a tech job or a government position, there are several more who don’t go down such career paths b/c they observed this. Lack of meritocratic hiring has downstream effects, so lack of competence will get steadily worse for some time.

In a way you’ve got to hand it to him. If you were around during his heyday of the Daily Show, you could see how influential he was if you had liberal friends. They all mimicked him, laughed at you, scorned you if you didn’t agree. But it made them very fragile when they lost.…

Have tweeted about it before, but Blackstone thing, buying houses, is really nasty. They're doing it w/debt financing. Big inflation will lower their borrowing costs, but they'll still have property, which will rise in value w/inflation. Guys who sold, holding cash, wiped out.

This is a very trying time to be a young, talented white guy w/out connections. Diversity quotas mean you’re heavily discriminated against b/c older cohorts are largely white. To get the quota, balance out the old guys who won’t retire, they’re going very hard against white men.

Jury pools matter. There are differences b/w Rittenhouse and Perry trials, but fundamentally both guys had clear self-defense cases. In Wisconsin - outside Milwaukee/Madison - it was still possible to get a fair jury. In Austin, TX - lefty playpen - this is apparently hard.

Seeing this removal of the William Penn statue forces me to beat a dead horse. When people took down Confederate statutes as ‘traitors,’ they meant treason to the values of today, what we think right now. They aren’t really talking about treason in 1861 because they don’t know…
