Sad news this evening that club President and legend Phil Bennett has passed. Phil held Felinfoel in his blood and thoughts of all involved with the club today are with the family and friends
We are aware of rumours circulating on social media this morning regards Phil, which we can confirm are not true. Please can any such posts be corrected and/or removed. Thank you
With our game being called of late today it was brilliant to see all the boys and the whole Felinfoel community out to support the unveiling of Bennys bench. It is located in the same spot we’re he stood to watch “his boys” week in week out. ❤️
Just a quick mention. What a cover tackle this was by the
@gowertonrfc
player. If you’re a young player and have aspirations to go higher, watch this. This is a prime example why you should never give up. Even though our winger left the handbrake on👀👀
Incredibly proud that Phil is our President. We've always known what a legend he is. But if anyone needs reminding, they only need to listen to the words of the great Delme Thomas in this footage from the statue unveiling, kindly supplied by
@HenoS4C
