Celebrating Women's History Month: Rusty Dow was a truck driver for the U.S. Army. In 1944, she became the first woman to drive a fully loaded truck the entire length of the Alaska Highway – 1,560 miles solo, from Fairbanks to Dawson Creek in the Yukon Territory.
