Always sad to see the end of baseball season 😭
Thank you to everyone for supporting us on the Angels broadcasts this season. I love this job so much, and the people the come with it, and am grateful every day. Until next time ♥️🫶🏻
Thank you Angels twitter for welcoming this newbie and making me feel like part of the Halos fam. An honor covering the remarkable humans on and around this team this season. Until next time! 🥂
Shohei’s nail evidently cracked earlier in the game and he was fine. But he saw Webb warming and thought he might have a better feel for his pitches at that point, so he came out. Should be okay for his next start.
Angels congratulate Shohei for winning MVP here in Anaheim with a nice video tribute.
Though Shohei was ready to go in the batters box worried about the pitch timer 😂
Nevin said Shohei is fine. “A lot of work today”. Called it more body cramps. Nevin was probably going to take him out after the 2nd home run anyways. They’ll get him some fluids and anticipate he’s fine for tomorrow.
Shohei Ohtani's American League ranks:
😮 tied for 3rd in home runs
😮 5th in slugging
😮 5th in pitching strikeouts
😮 5th in ERA
RT if this is your MVP right now! ♻️
The Cards clubhouse was glued to the

game after the win in DC. Petro scored while we were talking to Marcell Ozuna. I asked him if he liked hockey...”now I do” 😂😂😂

Ohtani said it was basically the same finger issue that affected him last time out. It wasn’t fully healed and got worse as the game went on.
Thinks he’ll be okay to continue hitting, but as of now he is not planning to pitch in the All Star game.
After more awe-inspiring performances on the diamond in 2023 that continued to resonate with fans around the world, Shohei Ohtani finished the season with the most popular player jersey in MLB for the first time in his career.
