Being dropped onto 40m towers from a chopper is just another day at the office for our transmission crews. They help
@powerlinkqld
with inspections of their towers along Qld’s eastern seaboard & key inland lines. Here’s the Townsville team in action this week at Herveys Range.
Power has been restored to most of Stanthorpe. There are still some customers in the area without power as our crews work to repair damage to our poles and wires. There may be some outages in the Applethorpe area in response to the fire situation there to ensure public safety.

It's been a tough slog for our crews working today to restore power in the Pechey area, near Toowoomba.
Active fires in the area are making it difficult to access all of the damaged poles but we’ll get in there when it’s safe.

Our crews & support teams are hard at it across Qld. While trying to keep inconveniences to a minimum, important planned maintenance & emergency response still needs to happen to keep things safe & reliable. Wherever you are, our people are ready to help.
