Tomorrow in Prosperous we start our trial of the 4 day work week. We will run it for July and August and see how we go. Really well received by all the team. Our attitude is we are all big enough to know what needs to be done, so let’s do it and get the work life balance right.

Government say they can’t cap energy prices as it would be like “writing a blank cheque for the energy companies” 1. Why are government happy for all of us to “write a blank cheque” when they won’t themselves. 2. They are government, so govern. Stop the spiralling prices.

I was on The Italian speed train Frecciarosa below yesterday. It travels at 250kmph. That’s about the same distance as Dublin to Cork... if we had this type of train, theoretically you could live in Cork and work in Dublin with only a 1 hour commute....

I have rapid at home covid tests.... when I have to go out for essential reasons I use them... for my own reassurance that I won’t be harming others/spreading covid. Why aren’t they being pushed more by government or why haven’t they become the norm? Am I missing something?
