We've arrested a 29-year-old man on suspicion of possession of controlled drugs with intent to supply and theft. Officers used #StopAndSearch powers in #Burton yesterday (14 Nov) and found a suspected stolen phone, 9 bags of cocaine and drug paraphernalia. He remains in custody.

#UttoxeterNPT officers have been on Town Meadows Way again, with another vehicle check site. In excess of 100 vehicles stopped and over a dozen motorists dealt with for various offences. This included a drink driver and a vehicle that hadn’t been taxed for months! Big success

Operation #JollyPurchase was conducted today in Burton town centre . Officers issued 4 out of court disposals, stop searches and 2 arrested on suspension of theft and fraud by false representation. The 2 are currently in custody. This operation will continue throughout December.

PC Walker & PCSO Mighty attended Burton Police cadets tonight. The members of our local policing team gave some insight into the recruitment and officer assessment process. A presentation was also given on possession of a bladed article and possession of an offensive weapon.
