Tell us again @dorsetpolice why the public have to be endangered by hunts like the Portman hunting foxes over roads. The whipper-in eventually puts hounds through a hedge before others in the distance locate the fox and he encourages them on. Hounds ended up on the A30.

Quantock Staghounds sabbed by their own hound today! Shooter was sneaking up on exhausted stag hiding in gorse when a hound ran in and scared him off! Sabs followed the hunt on foot for over 11 miles, kicking them out of @ForestryEngland land and disrupting the search so no kill

Out covertly watching the BSV hunt this morning. Filmed this kill at a huge distance hence the poor quality but shows hounds breaking up a fox and huntsman "ragging" the body. Second supporter in white shirt to the left of screen appears to be stripping the fox's tail. #huntscum

Yesterday in Dorset @Weymouthanimalr filmed the South Dorset Hunt savaging a deer to death, @NDHuntSabs filmed the Cattistock chasing a fox, while two members of the public witness the BSV Hunt kill a fox in a hedge and @dorsetpolice PCC @Sidwick4Dorset denies this stuff happens.

@chrisloder @chrisloder doesn’t like sea eagles being protected because they “plague farmers” and yet supports hunts in his own constituency who build and utilise artificial fox earths to encourage foxes to thrive so they can be illegally hunted by his mates at the Cattistock Hunt.

Dorset Police PCC @Sidwick4Dorset tweeted last night that trail hunting is a legal pastime. The BSV claim to be a trail hunt - judge for yourselves. By downgrading policing of hunts @dorsetpolice have effectively decriminalised fox hunting in the county. @WildlifeBlog @HuntSabs

@nightnoodle I suspect anyone who’s been a sab or monitor will be able to recall moments when they’ve been driven at or ridden at by irate hunt supporters. Frankly we tolerate too much of this sort of stuff and just accept it because we all know the police won’t take action. That is wrong

Just remember that if a member of the public observes a fox being pursued or hunt support screaming and shouting to stop it escaping a pack of hounds, like in this film, then @dorsetpolice WILL NOT ATTEND. Because @Sidwick4Dorset has told them that the BSV are acting lawfully.
