Just stop it. Jake Allen is your starter. He will be better than last year. He's shown that he plays better without competition from a 1B breathing down his back. We *should* have an offense to take pressure off every goal seeming like it will lose the game. Let it play out.

Jake Allen has a .920 save % in his last 40 road starts and this fan base still shits their pants when he gets a start on the road. I forgot that Binnington has to play every non back to back game, surely there’s no way he could burnout, especially after playing until June.

Jake Allen: .920 save % on the road and a .930 save % against COL entering today. But half the fan base was mad we didn’t start Binnington twice in 24 hours. You absolutely need 2 goalies down the stretch, you won’t have that by burning out 50 and not getting 34 starts.

I see a lot of “extend Binnington long term” tweets: Allen had 99 GP with a .916 save % before his extension at age 25. Binnington is 25 and has 33 GP with a .926 save %. For the love of God give him a short term deal so we don’t have to go through all of this again. Please.
