In MK1 you can have MORE HEALTH, and STILL LOSE. It’s based on the ratio of your health vs max health…. Lao has 34 and I had 36 yet I STILL LOST. If Nitara had 100 health & Havik had 120 health (typically 10/12%), Nitara would actually win😅 Has it always been like this in MK?

@LOSTyGIRL If you’re a sub zero main and fight a geras he has a 100% combo cause ice ball freezes the opponent after time freeze guarenteed. So that’s a 9-1 matchup & Gives you Sento stance against Kenshi which I think is necessary in high level play against these crazy Kenshi players.

Hot take: I think a lot of the “disliking” of MK1 is partially due to being bored of the formula we’ve gotten the last decade. We need something new online aside from Ranked, Kasuals, and KOTH. Tournament mode, 2v2 3 rounds to win where each round switches, etc. SOMETHING diff.

Scorpion + Janet Cage damage is WILD. I think this is Scorpion’s highest damage combo, but I could be wrong. Thank you to the NRS team! I think I could see practicality with this, if you setup the sandwhich and the opponent panic jumps out, but only 70%!

95% of the time it is just laziness and selfishness that causes people to play on WiFi. "My router is upstairs" Run the cables or hook your system up there. Don't be lazy. Your convenience shouldn't inconvenience everyone else. Lastly, MK1 NEEDS a real connection filter.

@MortalKombat No real issues so far! The game is a blast (: Any way that throw animations could be sped up a little though? Seems like there is a moment where you’re frozen in place even after the kameo is off the screen. This whole thing is amazing!

Hot take… The run button isn’t coming back in MK12. Dash blocking was such a universally understood movement style, that I think they found their sweet spot. High level players can learn to wave dash etc, and casuals can still grasp the movement easily and use it effectively.

Lost 3-0 to a Baraka with Scorpion. Switched to Baraka/Cyrax and the elder gods blessed me with the exact same opponent for the salty runback. We take the dub. Convinced the top tiers are more annoying in MK1 cause Jacqui, Fujin and Cetrion weren’t as easy to play as Raiden/Raka.

NRS missed the mark with this patch. A broad damage nerf that effects gravity wasn’t it. It was the zero hit confirm playstyle of Cyrax/low hat that we hated. Could we revert everything but the kameo changes and then regroup/decide in 1 week? #mortalkombat1 #mk1 #mortalkombat

So if your character doesn’t have a fast enough wake up against Raiden and Jento he gets a block infinite and builds 2 bars without a flawless block but can also end it early and go for OH low mix and do it again if it’s early!

Now that the streets have figured out that you can summon ambush kameos during gaps, it's time to share this gem. Scorp players have been getting away with this for long enough. If Goro is in your main char's kameo rotation, you might wanna use it against Scorp. 😉 #MK1_Scorpion
