Apparently, I'm going viral in this tweet for the recap story of the wild police chase that started on the north side of metro Denver and ended on the south side. Watching what was unfolding in front of me was both scary and exhilarating all at the same time.
I like it when people help people and that is what these two guys did along SB 25 at 225. They stopped on the highway behind the desk and drug it out of lanes. The other guy was raising his arms in victory in a funny moment. Traffic is moving much better and safer now.
Plates? Who needs plates these days? I saw this car this morning coming off 6th Ave at Sheridan. It was the second car without a plate I saw this morning.
Nice fishtail. The first storm is always has the highest number of wrecks. Drivers should settle down by mid Novemberโฆ.. wait, these are Denver drivers. They will be wrecking all year.
This is an amazing picture I saw on a social site showing the initial response after the EB 6th Ave wreck. At least 50 vehicles in this shot and amazingly no one was seriously injured.
It can snow every month in Colorado and this is proof from Rocky Mountain National Park. Snow across the peaks as seen from the Alpine Visitors Center.
From the Colorado State Patrol: Today, at approximately 1:15 a.m., a two-vehicle crash occurred at 13th Street and Lincoln.ย One individual involved reportedly pointed a handgun at the other driver.
A short time later, that same individual shot out a window on the east sideโฆ
I was out getting video yesterday for an upcoming story on Rooney Road about how drivers are speeding and tailgating when this happened. I was going the speed limit but that wasn't fast enough for this driver who passed me by crossing over the double yellow lines. I imagine theโฆ
A procession is being planned for fallen JeffCo K9, Graffit. The procession is expected to depart the area of 19th St & Elm in Golden around 9:00 am (could be a little later). Route is 6th Ave EB Highway 58 to I-70. East to I-76. East to I-25. North to CSU in Fort Collins.
So this just happened in my neighborhood. They guy down the street was apparently wanted for a homicide out of JeffCo. The police used lots of tear gas. Yes I could feel it. And they used the tank car to ram the garage door and breach the house. The suspect is in custody.
Have you seen this guy in Castle Rock? I saw him one time fluing near Sedaia over Santa Fe. I've never seen him fly over I-25 and that part of Castle Rock. The contraption has wheels and a large fan that keeps the paraglider in the air. This is him from just east of I-25 acrossโฆ
Yes, it is June 2nd and yes it is snowing in Colorado. This is Breckenridge and you can see the wet snow. It isn't sticking to the roads, just making them wet.
Yes, this is measurable snow in colorado on June 9th. This is along I-70 at the Eisenhower Tunnel as blowing snow is making for difficult travel. Near here, US 6 Loveland Pass is closed to all traffic due to blowing snow and treacherous conditions.

Jae Jarratt from Profound Elements Photography posted this picture of the super moon from last night saying, "Super-Super-Moon over Garden Of The Gods tonight ๐๐"
What a shot!
This wreck on EB Colfax after 225 will be investigated for some time. Plan on delays for many hours. 6th Ave or Alameda or 2nd ave are good alternates across 225.
The bigger reason this should bug all drivers is that vehicle owners who don't register their cars TYPICALLY don't have insurance. This is why all of us who do buy insurance need uninsured/under insured coverage that gets more expensive every year. Obviously the lost revenue forโฆ
This could be the spot for the first metro Denver In-N-Out burger. This is along County Line Rd just west of Park Meadows Mall where the Suds Factory car wash sits now. Instead of washing the outside of your car you can wash your insides with In-N-Out.
#WINTERSTORM
: โ๏ธSnow is moving into the Monument area. Weโve seen a mix of snow & rain since we arrived at 4:30am. Roads are wet & slushy so be cautious if youโre heading this way. The good news: pavement temps are still above freezing so this snow isnโt likely to ice over.
