Thank you everyone for playing test2 world 0.9. You guys have built some incredible things here in the last 14 months, can't wait to see what you do in the next world!
roblox: "Non-opaque objects are currently not visible through glass ... We do not recommend relying on this behavior for gameplay."
everyone: "wow so cool i have so many ideas that rely on this behavior for gameplay i'll get to work right away"
Pizza Tycoon is an unreleased game I made in nov 2009. thank you
@Awkward_Brick
for fixing it for FE and finally releasing it! Experience a little piece of history that never was:
Lumber Tycoon 2 retrospective at RDC 2019, WITH Q&A at the end. The version Roblox published has no Q&A and was very poorly cut, so after a year of persuasion I finally got the uncut footage. Here it is.
Helicopters! With proper helicopter controls, so you can do all the crazy maneuvers real helicopters can do. Two days working on this so far, really happy with it.
I FINALLY FINISHED MY MOVIE that I've been working on for two years. It's about a irl mystery adventure game I made in college and got strangers to play. Very very excited to have this done and finally share it.
I wrote this macro manager to organize and quickly/easy execute my frequently used project-specific commands that I'd otherwise have to constantly use commandline for. Just tidied up and published it, if this sounds useful for your workflow, check it out:
One of the built in macros is this handy model screenshot tool. It automatically centers and frames arbitrary models and sets the lighting to specific screenshot settings.
I was at the
#BlackLivesMattter
protest at which NYPD entrapped 1,000+ protesters on the
#ManhattanBridge
.
Initially the protest attempted to get on the bridge via the Brooklyn side on-ramp, but police formed a wall and blocked access to the bridge. 8:20 PM

Despite all the pressure put on by the NYPD, the protest never came close to being violent. Everyone was super active about deescalating any sparks of violence before they destroyed the protest. An incredibly commendable demonstration, I'm super proud to have been a part of it.
Made a super simple spring mass damper system module because I couldn't find a public domain one last night. Really really useful for smoothly controlling any value, it comes in handy in places you might not expect.
