@markevansr @ahDifferentMe No. Its because it doesn't do anything to progress the lacking material conditions that plague our community. No amount of empty symbolism is gonna close the wealth gap, stop systemic oppression, etc. Nobody care about her being biracial.

@multiwhirl I am 100% for a general strike but calls for it without any strike funds to take care of those who will be hit is a fools errand. This is a critical portion to the huge barrier. People have kids, sick ones, etc, without any support system to alleviate then this a wash.
