Proud father, happy husband, former state senator and immediate past chairman of the Georgia Republican Party. One of the nineteen Fulton County defendants.
I wonder what Chuck Schumer meant when he said that Brett Kavanaugh would “pay the price” and “not know what hit him” if he continued making “awful decisions” as a Supreme Court justice. Please, my liberal friends on Twitter, put his words in an understandable context for me.
Mind boggling that
@GaSecofState
and his lawyers would secretly record and release a confidential settlement conference with the President. I have made open records requests to the Secretary of State which have never been acknowledged or answered. This is lawlessness.
One of our monitors discovered a 9,626 vote error in the DeKalb County hand count. One batch was labeled 10,707 for Biden and 13 for Trump - an improbable margin even by DeKalb standards. The actual count for the batch was 1,081 for Biden and 13 for Trump.
President
@realDonaldTrump
has filed two lawsuits - federal and state - against
@GaSecofState
. The telephone conference call
@GaSecofState
secretly recorded was a “confidential settlement discussion” of that litigation, which is still pending.
Let me repeat. Fulton County elections officials told the media and our observers that they were shutting down the tabulation center at State Farm Arena at 10:30 p.m. on election night only to continue counting ballots in secret until 1:00 a.m.
Because the President’s lawsuit contesting the Georgia election is still pending, the Republican nominees for Presidential Elector met today at noon at the State Capitol today and cast their votes for President and Vice President.
President
@realDonaldTrump
and I filed an election contest on December 4 showing evidence of unlawful votes cast and counted in the election for President that are substantially greater in number than the margin. We have never a hearing, let alone a ruling, on our contest.
President
@realDonaldTrump
and I filed an election contest on December 4 showing that thousand of voters were unlawfully cast and counted in the 2020 general election in Georgia. Two weeks later and the lawsuit has yet to be assigned to a judge who is authorized to decide it.
Biden’s margin of victory in this batch of votes (99.9%) bested Bashar al-Assad’s 2007 margin (97.6%) and Raul Castro’s 2008 margin (99.4%). It matched Kim Jong-il’s 2009 margin (99.9%).
Fulton County Commissioner
@LizHausmann
just alerted me that Fulton County is re-scanning a batch of 12,000 ballots due to unexplained technical problems. We have dispatched Republican monitors back to the tabulation center. This is maddening.
Our Republican recount monitors at the World Congress Center waited today for four hours while Fulton County elections officials “updated the software.” The explanation given to me - “just the usual Fulton County incompetence” - is completely unacceptable.
Our monitors tell us that Walton County election officials have found a memory card that was apparently not uploaded. The number of uncounted votes is not as large as in Floyd or Fayette but the President will pick up votes.
In 2018, when 230,000 absentee ballots were cast, 3.5% were rejected for signature mismatches or other reasons. In 2020, when more than 1.2 million absentee ballots were cast, the rejection rate fell to 0.3%. Did the massive increase in ballots overwhelm the verification process?
Chairman
@DavidShafer
and Congressman Doug
@CollinsforGA
ask Secretary of State to take control of hand count of ballots and provide promised transparency.
More uncounted votes discovered during the hand count in Fayette County, mostly for
@realDonaldTrump
. Apparently a memory card was not uploaded. Unclear whether this is the same type of error discovered yesterday in Floyd County or a new one.
Biden did not ask the Saudis to maintain current oil production. He asked them to wait a month before cutting it. He is not trying to save Ukraine from Russia or even Americans from higher gas prices. He is trying to save his party from the voters.
No one disputes that Fulton County elections officials falsely announced that the counting of ballots would stop at 10:30 p.m. No one disputes that Fulton County elected officials unlawfully resumed the counting of ballots after our observers left the center.
The audio published by
@TheWashingtonPost
is heavily edited and omits the stipulation that all discussions were for the purpose of settling litigation and confidential under federal and state law.
Had we not meet today and cast our votes, the President’s pending election contest would have been effectively mooted. Our action today preserves his rights under Georgia law.
We were limited to 1 monitor for every 10 counting tables and we were kept some distance from the tables. There is no telling what we missed under these unreasonable restrictions. The miscounted batch had been be signed off by two official counters.
Twitter has monetized my account and is now sharing advertising revenue with me. Every time you like, share or reply to one of my posts, you help fund my legal defense. Please do not let me down, trolls. Your clever prison jokes could save me from financial ruin.
Twelfth Congressional District Republican Committee filed a federal lawsuit earlier tonight against
@GaSecofState
Brad Raffensperger challenging his mismanagement of absentee ballots.
Except when Woodrow Wilson replaced the Chief Justice who resigned to run against him in 1916 or when Dwight Eisenhower appointed William Brennan three weeks before the 1956 election or when it happened a half dozen other times during a Presidential election year.
Never before in our nation’s history has a Supreme Court Justice been nominated and installed while a presidential election is already underway.
It defies every precedent and every expectation of a nation where the people are sovereign and the rule of law reigns.
Today President
@realDonaldTrump
and I filed a lawsuit against
@GaSecofState
Brad Raffensperger contesting his certification of the Presidential election in Georgia. 1/15
We requested - and were denied - an opportunity to view the verification of absentee ballot signatures in September. That is why the entire
@GaRepublicans
State Executive Committee is demanding an audit of the absentee ballots. Read our letter.
Had this counting error not been discovered, Biden would have gained enough votes from this one batch alone to cancel out Trump’s gains from Fayette, Floyd and Walton.
In the general election,
@GaSecofState
broke his promise to issue a bulletin allowing us to observe absentee ballot signature verification. After the election, he refused repeated calls by
@BrianKempGA
and others to audit the signature matches. Today
@GaRepublicans
sued him.
More false reporting from Stephen Fowler of
@GPBNews
. Although originally claiming that state monitors were present,
@GaSecofState
now acknowledges that this was untrue, as the video shows. Our position is unchanged. Ballots were counted unlawfully and in secret.
Notice the slight goalpost-moving in comments.
Everything the chairman says *is* true - ppl left - but specific allegation being made is that *nobody* supervised the counting, which the state said isn't true because they had an observer present.
I do not understand why the
@GaSecofState
keeps publicly saying that all Georgia counties have Republicans on their election boards. Some counties do not have elections boards and the state’s fifth largest county - Clayton County - has a board with no Republican representation.
West Virginia has a higher literacy rate than New York, California or New Jersey and would like likely have fewer poor people had the Democrats not demolished the mining industry.
What
#JoeManchin
, who represents a population smaller than Brooklyn, has done to the rest of America, who wants to move forward, not backward, like his state, is horrible. He sold us out. He wants us all to be just like his state, West Virginia. Poor, illiterate and strung out.
House Speaker David Ralston today: “I am reiterating my call for
@GaSecofState
to request the signature verification of absentee ballots. Free and fair elections are the cornerstone of our democracy, and we must use all available tools to protect the integrity of the vote.”
I have not considered a "plea deal" with Fani Willis for even a nanosecond. I am fighting her wrongful prosecution with all my strength. Thank you so much for the prayers and encouragement. I have never once felt alone.
This is not accurate. The error was not “immediately caught” or “corrected on the spot.” It was discovered by a Republican monitor after TWO official counters signed off on the erroneous count. It took a brief argument and hours of recounting to correct the error.
The original machine count got it right. Human hand-count of one batch in audit got it wrong and was immediately caught because there can’t be 10,000+ votes in a 1,000+ vote batch. Corrected on the spot. No conspiracy or change in outcome or margin. No ‘extra’ votes added.
I share President
@realDonaldTrump
’s frustration. The system is broken if a candidate cannot even obtain a timely hearing on the merits of an election contest.

Georgia law requires election contests to be heard within 20 days of being filed. Twenty days have passed and it is now a new year. We have filed emergency motions and even an emergency appeal to the Georgia Supreme Court. But our case has still not been assigned a judge.
Whenever a Republican monitor has discovered an error, elections officials say it is “proof the system is working.” If so, why did they limit us to one monitor for every ten counting tables? Would the system not work ten times better if we had a monitor watching every table?
You may have missed this correction from The
@WashingtonPost
in which the paper retracted its false reporting that President Trump told
@GaSecofState
investigators to “find the fraud.”
Lawyers for President
@realDonaldTrump
and me wrote to
@GaSecofState
today asking for our handwriting experts to participate in the absentee ballot signature audit. We made the same request in our election contest which was filed two weeks ago but not yet assigned to a judge.
From today’s hearing at the State Capitol. Not sure why Twitter has labeled this “disputed.” It is video from the surveillance camera at State Farm Arena where Fulton County election workers scanned ballots late into the night after falsely announcing they were shutting down.
WATCH: Video footage from Georgia shows suitcases filled with ballots pulled from under a table AFTER supervisors told poll workers to leave room and 4 people stayed behind to keep counting votes
The only revelation of racism at Merrick Garland’s news conference today was his ludicrous suggestion that people of color are somehow incapable of keeping track of their drivers licenses or identification cards.
Today in Fulton County, they are operating a fork lift between the place the ballot scanners are located and the area our observers have been instructed to stand.
The little girl on the left was born in Bamberg, South Carolina to immigrant parents. They named her “Nikki” which means “little one” in Punjabi. Running as a Republican,
@NikkiHaley
became the first woman to serve as Governor of South Carolina.
The Secretary of State’s office secretly recorded the conversation, mischaracterized its contents to The Washington Post and then attempted to delete the recording. It was recently discovered in a laptop “trash” folder as part of an open records search.
At the
@GaRepublicans
State Headquarters monitoring reports from county tabulation centers. Problems with Republican and other public observers being allowed to view tabulation and canvass.
We asked the Georgia Supreme Court to intervene when it became apparent that a judge would not be assigned to the case prior to the meeting of the Electoral College. It declined to do so.
I have authorized lawyers for the Georgia Republican Party to file an emergency petition against the Chatham County Board of Elections to enforce election laws and prevent the unlawful counting of absentee ballots received after the election.
It is outrageous that we cannot rely on Fulton County elections officials to do their jobs without unexplained four hour delays, interventions by private attorneys and federal court orders.
Our lawsuit does not rely on theories about the voting machines. These theories will be explored in other lawsuits. Instead, we painstakingly show thousands of examples of “low tech” voting irregularities and fraud sufficient in scale to place the election result in doubt. 2/15
More election news never reported: Two Fulton County elections board members voted against certifying the Fulton County election returns because signatures on absentee ballots were not electronically verified.
Congressman Doug
@CollinsforGA
and I wrote today to Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger describing the election irregularities which cause us concern. We also provided his office with sworn testimony supporting our concerns.
Chairman
@DavidShafer
and Congressman Doug
@CollinsforGA
have written to Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger asking him to investigate election irregularities and take immediate steps to ensure the integrity of the vote count.
Dave is wrong here. We have no idea whether either the first or second hand count matches the original machine count because audit has not been completed.
This is grossly misleading. The recording error during the DeKalb hand count doesn't impact the overall GA margin, because the tally was recorded correctly in the original count. But of course, this post has 8k RTs and 17k likes.
Masked, helmeted private militia carrying AK47s and AR15s showed up today at the State Capitol. You have not heard about it because the gunmen are radical leftists. Imagine the news coverage if one of them was wearing a MAGA cap.
Fani Willis moved to reopen evidence n the matter of her disqualification. We agreed and offered new evidence of our own. Willis then reversed course and moved to shut down all new evidence. My lawyers filed this reply today.
It has been more than two weeks since
@GaSecofState
Brad Raffensperger personally promised to issue an official election bulletin allowing our monitors to view the absentee ballot verification process. His office promised again last week and promised again today.
The rejection rate for absentee ballots declined more than 90% from 2018 to 2020.
@jaysbookman
publicly worries that I have gone “crazy” for asking if the verification process was perhaps overwhelmed by more than a million new ballots. This is the definition of “gaslighting.”
David Shafer has always been conservative, but I've also considered him reality-based and ethical. That's no longer the case. He is indulging in crazy, fact-free conspiracy talk, to the detriment of Georgia and his party, and I can't understand why.

The most jarring image to me from January 6 was of the horn wearing shaman in the Senate Chamber. But surveillance video shows that the Capitol Police guided him there, unlocking doors for him as they made their way together through the building.
We are limited to one credentialed monitor for each ten counting tables. Congressman Doug
@CollinsforGA
and I asked for a one to one ratio yesterday but our request was refused.
The State Executive Committee of
@GaRepublicans
tonight passed an emergency resolution demanding that
@GaSecofState
begin the absentee ballot signature verification audit in Fulton County, which is already under a consent order for “bad management” of absentee balloting.
Encouraging to see a night time gathering where no Molotov cocktails are thrown, fires started, windows shattered, stores looted or police officers attacked.
Why not audit Fulton County where two election board members voted against certifying the election because they do not believe that signature matching took place?
@GaSecofState
@GabrielSterling
New: Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger says the state will conduct a limited signature match audit in Cobb County, with the results to be released in two weeks.

No, I said that the failure to acknowledge or respond to open records requests was “lawlessness.” I said that secretly recording and releasing the settlement call was “mind boggling.” But, hey, it is not like your job is to report the news.
Georgia's GOP chairman says to "secretly record and release" Trump's call to GA's SOS is "lawlessness"... not the actual request from the President for elections officials to break the law for his political gain.
Tonight, Georgia Republicans won a Republican district, just like Georgia Democrats will continue to win our Democratic state. The
#HD34
election was an opportunity for us to protect voters in the midst of unprecedented attacks on the freedom to vote across the country.

I have joined this lawsuit in my capacity as a registered voter and Republican candidate for Presidential Elector because I care about the integrity of our elections. I am not seeking reimbursement of my legal fees from the Georgia Republican Party or the Trump campaign. 15/15
When I served in the State Senate, I voted with the
@GAPressAssoc
100% of the time on open meetings and open records. I am astonished at the sudden lack of media curiosity in the transparent conduct of elections.
This is not what we had in mind when we demanded the right to observe the signature verification process. It is a farce and one of the reasons we are suing
@GaSecofState
.
I have moved to disqualify District Attorney Fani Willis and am fighting her wrongful prosecution with all my strength. I am so grateful for the encouragement and support. I have never once felt alone in the fight.
Even had state monitors been present, the law still requires that ballot counting be open to partisan monitors and the public. But state monitors were not present, as the
@GaSecofState
now acknowledges and the video shows.
When Walt Disney was asked if he believed in the Immaculate Conception, he answered: “I believe every conception is immaculate because it involves a child.” Wisdom for those who use his name today.
We today filed five motions in the Fulton County case, including this new 229 page motion to disqualify Fani Willis for a continuing pattern of forensic prosecutorial misconduct.
I am completely innocent of the charges Fani Willis brought against me and have never considered a "plea deal" for even a second. I am fighting her wrongful prosecution with all my strength. I am so grateful for the encouragement and support.

Still reeling at how this election was so adamantly declared to have been “free from irregularity” before votes were counted, machines audited or returns certified. Thousands of votes were unlawfully counted in secret. Thousands more were mislaid and not counted at all.
