The voters may be saying something to the Lib Dems that should be listened to. Tim Farron polled the highest among its MPs with over 31,000 votes and 62.7% vote share on a good 68% turnout. His Christian principles were a plus not seen as a threat.

BBC News is reaching its largest ever global audience. On average, that's 456 million people from around the world every week 2020-21 – an increase of 18 million people, compared to 2019-20. That's a record audience for BBC News International Services.

As 75 per cent of funding for the BBC World Service comes from the Licence Fee, any freeze by the government will have a huge and damaging impact on quality and reach. Another international own goal from a government not serious about Global Britain.

The 3% unusable figure (by volume) is a distortion, as it counts single gloves as individual items! But the real sting is the majority by value (over half of the £3.9bn) is accounted for by the most expensive items - sterile surgical gowns (think PPEMedPro) and FFP3 masks.
