No, but if a variety of a voice actor's role is just them speaking in same-voice everytime, that's not a good "actor" just someone with a nice voice, and this is the sane standard that's been applied to actors as well. "Just being you" isn't what makes a good actor, simply put.

VA tip Range is important but remember so is your ACTING The first thing you should work on is your acting before range. Because if you have a limited range but can still make the viewer feel things you’re for sure gonna get stuff
