Ramesses II’s tomb (exterior) at Abu Simbel. 4 statues of the pharaoh are 20 meters high! Amazing heritage preservation project saved the monument by moving it to a higher elevation during the construction of the Aswan Dam.

Ever take a good hard look at the bronze doors of Pantheon? The doors are probably from somewhere else, retrofitted for Pantheon. Note relatively small size of the doors compared 2 the more massive marble threshold that indicates original door height #ancientromelive @saverome
