Absolutely not. This is completely disrespectful, not only to Swole, but to the black community that AEW has been consistently not listened to.
I wanted to be a part of the change AEW so desperately needs but you’re showing that you’re willingly missing the point.
@TonyKhan
The top 2
@AEW
execs are brown (me & Megha)!! Jade, Bowens, Caster, Dante, Nyla, Isiah & Marq Quen all won on tv this month. The TBS Title Tournament has been very diverse. I let Swole’s contract expire as I felt her wrestling wasn’t good enough.

Street Fight TONIGHT!
I can barely find the words.
Last night my heart was BROKEN, after I watched 20+ Black Men jump ONE Black Trans Woman, named
#IyannaDior
at a gas station.
WE CAN NEVER HAVE TRUE LIBERATION IF WE ARE OPPRESSING OUR OWN.
WE CAN NOT BE FREE IF WE AREN’T ALL FREE.
My father died today.
The last time i spoke to him was Saturday.
He told me he tried to watch For The Culture Thursday night but couldn’t figure out how to order it.
I told him I’d show him when I saw him.
Imagine being a PROGRESS-ive company, and having to reach out to a black talent to ask them if they can ghost write you a pro-Black Lives Matter statement, after you spent A WEEK being silent on the issue.
Those boys BEEN moving funny.
It takes more than meeting a quota. It takes more than predetermined wins that you can count off in a single tweet.
Your tactless response to Swole’s valid critiques have now shown us all what you truly think (or don’t think) about us as a community when we voice our concerns.
We had a quick meeting at AEW in Greensboro where I gave you a flashdrive that featured an extensive explanation (with numeric breakdowns) on exactly how the black community is being underserved in your company. That breakdown was not only there for personal gain.
@TonyKhan
A lot of buzzwords are being thrown around, so I’ll say it bluntly:
Your wrestling isn’t diverse if only white and white passing wrestlers are at the top.
@TonyKhan
You can’t gaslight your way out of a critique that the entire community you’re allegedly serving has.
We’re standing up for Sasha Banks today. What was said was a display of absolutely abhorrent behavior.
Words like that are rooted in violence, misogyny, and the desire to hold power over women. You don’t joke like that.
As a community we stand up today and say “never again.”
This is not the change you promised, this is more of the same
@TonyKhan
, and it’s been more of the same, and it’ll be more of the same because you are not listening.
The entire industry is not listening.
Let your voice ring loud and clear.
We can’t accept tone deaf representation any longer. We have to hold people accountable whether intentional or not if we want progression.
Anybody who doesn’t see simply doesn’t want to.
All love to you brother, you have our support.
My “white passing” comment wasnt to strip anybody of their ethnicity, nor was it a critique of individuals saying anybody wasn’t “black enough”, it was a critique on the systems of colorism that allow anti blackness to thrive in mass media and marketing.
Thank you to everyone for the flood of support.
For new fans, I have an entire YouTube page of footage. See/Learn more about “The Revolutionary” Darius Lockhart here:
For old fans, there is more to come.

Clearing the air a bit:
I am not and was not black balled.
I am not and was not injured.
I was unhappy, unimpressed, uninspired, and I chose to walk away.
I figure if we’re going to have the conversation, we have to be open about the nuances of the conversation. This is an opportunity for people to learn on every side. That’s what this is about, not clout points or a win. My point remains and I stand by what I said.

Wrestler court was the most insecure small dick energy average white man embarrassment to the wrestling business shit of all time.
On this day in 2002 "The Truth"
@RonKillings
defeated
@ShamrockKen
to become the 1st (and to this day) only officially recognized African-American NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion.

I’m back.
Thank you all for supporting
@ASEWrestling
.
Very tired. Lots to talk about, and we’ll talk soon, but until then, I want to leave you all with maybe my favorite moment from last night’s show.

They tell me
#AEWDynamite
is live tonight at 8/7c on TNT.
They tell me CM Punk will be on commentary.
They tell me Jade Cargill will be taking on Leyla Hirsch.
They also tell me “Revolution” is on the way.
I’m telling you to tune in tonight and see for yourself…
✊🏾
Thank you for your concern.
I am okay.
But I am absolutely not okay.
That said, I’m definitely not tired.
We been tired for 400 Years.
I’m tired of being tired.
I think I can handle a bit more.
Back at it tomorrow.
Goodnight.
They love telling us to be thankful.
They love reminding us that this isn’t our space.
We’re always “lucky to be here.”
Peep the language, stop being blind.
That company you keep begging to book us is gonna book who they want.
Go support who’s already booking us.
Take your dollar elsewhere and see what happens.
A lot of y’all want clout/the easy way out.
You barely support the black owned wrestling companies that already run now.
Stop waiting on a daddy warbucks to come save us & support the people who are taking the fight into their own hands while they are still around and willing.
If I ever commit suicide, I PROMISE you, I would never do it by hanging myself.
I’m not convinced that any Black Human would in 2020.
We’re almost at 10 Lynchings in 2 weeks. Lynching isn’t even illegal in all 50 States!
WAKE UP.
A Black man was found hanging in a tree in Huntington, Long Island this morning. The police have already classified it as a suicide before performing an autopsy. This same town is having a Blue Lives Matter rally as we speak.
Solidarity.
This match is the reason I’m even here right now:
Today I hope that the man behind the makeup is okay.
Peace & Love.

The President of the United States just refused to condemn/denounce White Supremacy on National Television.
Nothing we did not already know, but the transparency is astounding.
I’m trying my best to elevate in my career while also being true to myself and the people.
Doing the right thing is important to me.
Being in Professional Wrestling makes this very hard.
This entire industry is a con. I realized this in November and it almost made me walk away.
Regarding the Independents, the higher you go, the less they will try to pay you in the name of exposure.
Why are local indies paying us more than “major” ones with global outreach?
Straight Black men, We KNOW what it is like to be oppressed.
We KNOW what it feels like to exist in a system that STEPS on you completely.
WE KNOW what it feels like to be hated for EXISTING.
SO WHY THE FUCK are doing it to OUR OWN PEOPLE!?!?
