I introduced our "10000 shot club" to my Hillcrest guys this week in our skills camp. Got this message from one of the coaches about a 5th grade kid who heard the message and wanted to start right away. It's this kind of thing that is my answer to "why do you coach hs ball?" 🏀

It was hard to celebrate much after losing last night but our senior captain Brox Ashby achieved a great feat, officially hitting 1,000 pts for his career at Hillcrest. He is 1st player to do so in over 20 years, we are so proud of Brox & I couldn't be more proud to be his coach!

Our season comes to a close tonight against an extremely tough Copper Hills group, 44-58. We were led offensively by '20 Brox Ashby who had 16 pts & 8 rebs. Love my group and everything they gave us this year! This offseason is going to be a huge one starting immediately.

2 more solid events in the books with @MtnHoops eval camps in SLC and Omaha! Some very good players attended both camps & common thing I heard from coaches was how they looked at players' attitudes, like body language or staring down a ref. Bad attitudes don't get recruited!
