A group of over 100 kids showed up 2 days a week for the last 2 months to work their tails off for something bigger than themselves. They weren’t allowed to use footballs, there was no games on Friday nights and no real incentive to be out there, other than the love of the game!

Had a group of dudes lift from 4-6pm last night then stay and work on their skills at the turf until 8 o’clock. When I showed up at 6:30 this morning those same kids were waiting for me to open the weight room. THAT is what keeps me showing up for these kids every day. 💪🏼🏈❤️

The weight room was absolutely popping today! They boys even got me on the bench for a set (which is usually a big no no) But eighth grader Hassah Armstrong stole the show with his 225 bench. Which I think is our first 8th grader to ever hit 225.
