Don’t go to a 4-year program (D2/D3) with the idea that you’ll transfer to a higher division in a year or two. Once you enter the portal, be prepared for your current program to cut ties with you regardless. You can easily be left out, stranded without a program to play for. 💡🤔

When sending your Hudl film to a college coach, do not tell them you’re a “dawg” or “the best athlete you’ll see.” That is for them to decide. Be humble and confident but do not cross the fine line into cocky. 🤫👀

EARNING an offer is more than “Look what I can do on the field.” Its “Look what I do off the field, in the classroom, in my community.” Its being a person of high character, having grit, overcoming adversity. If you dont possess any of those traits being an athlete doesn’t matter

Athletes: Your DMs need to be OPEN! It’s unfortunate when an athlete says “Look at me” and I see no Hudl and I have no access to sending a DM. Opportunities are missed everyday because of these not so little things.
