Stanford Alum (1994). As Stanford HC: most wins all time, 4X Pac 12 North Champs, 3X Pac 12 Champs, 2X Rose Bowl Champs, only 4X Pac 12 Coach of the Year
Life is not just about what you accomplish. I believe life is about how you influence others. Every day Zach Hoffpauir gave his love and passion to his family, his teammates and the players he coached. Our prayers are with the Hoffpauir family, though Zach you are always with us.
Had the best decade in school history. Winning records vs. ND, USC, UCLA and 37-13 vs. the Pac-12 North. 10th in the nation in wins, 42 draft picks, and no school with FBS football has been ranked higher in education than

I love coaching at Stanford because I am constantly surrounded by intelligent, competitive, high-character individuals. In the midst of my anger and pain, I am again inspired by my team. We stand united for equality and justice.

Stanford University leadership and our department of athletics are working diligently with the Pac 12 and Santa Clara County on how, and when, our student athletes can safely return to sports.

One of our few mantras is to Play Great Football AND Graduate, which we are accomplishing at a high level.

My brother Eric and I are very grateful for this recognition. We are hopeful that his story, and the stories of all cancer survivors, will continue to inspire others battling through any difficult diagnosis.
The next 2020 Rare Disease Champion Team member is used to winning on the field but for

1) I met “Mr A“ when I was 19. He respected me and challenged me. Since 2011, he busted my chops when we had success & gave unwavering support when we struggled. He cared about my family as much as he cared about our student athletes.
Congrats to Week 11

2) John Arrillaga’s positive impact on Stanford (and on me) is impossible to calculate. I will end with a phrase that he said to me and others many times “Stanford is the most beautiful campus in the world, it’s up to us to keep it that way.”

So thankful for my first 100% free football camp a couple weeks ago. We had over 120 kids who live at risk or who have developmental differences participate in things like football drills, guest speakers, relay…
Thank you! I couldn’t be more proud of our
#StanfordNFL
alumni! Get after it in training camp and I can’t wait to see you all have a great 2022 season!

The Boys are now an automatic qualifier into to the State Championships!
And side note- when I decided to transfer David Shaw asked me where I would want to go and even offered to reach out to the Head coach. There are some good guys in college ball.
