Pine Island is definitely getting weird. It’s time to leave. Be careful if you come on the island. I recommend only coming during the day and getting off the island by 6PM. Neighbor down the street the battery was stolen out of his F450. Wood is getting stolen.

St. James City FL on Pine Island received the full brunt of Ian. Cat 5+ gusts from E-S-W and 15 foot storm surge with 10 to 15 foot rollers 🌊where there’s normally 2 ft of water! Literally beyond unbelievable. I hearby retire from my hurricane chasing career. Can’t top today.

#HurricaneIan I woke at 745AM and saw Weather Channel had 155mph. My Mom was in the kitchen talking to @ReedTimmerAccu and I said Mom we gotta go. She said no. I said Mom you’ve got 15 min we gotta go. We left at 830AM. Luckily no downed trees blocked us getting off Pine Island.

Saint James City the water is on until 5PM today. Boil water notice! do not drink it! Free drinking water is at 9550 Stringfellow Rd. bring your own container and take as much as you want! They are going to try to turn the water on every day if they have enough diesel
