For 10 years I have been wanting to take a photo of an ongoing tornado under a pretty supercell, get the whole thing in frame, no trees or power lines. Yesterday was the day that finally happened.
I don't use a 'real' camera, nor have any desire to. Doing this on a smartphone
Fire and police are overwhelmed. This is a true catastrophe near Hazard, Kentucky. Major flash flooding. Houses and cars floated away, many occupied. Posting only the lowest damage photos out of respect for anyone viewing, as should anyone. Take my word, this is a disaster area.

Dude, Iโve got two Dishys (Dishies?) here. One standard and one in motion. Both say theyโre not activated on an account, but they were just activated. Iโm in a hotel parking lot with cables all over. Help. I canโt figure out how to contact support ๐

Few quick notes:
I mentioned yesterday to viewers that "it never happens to you until it happens to you." Last night, it happened to many 'yous.' Please take time today to plan for severe weather. It never, ever happens until it does.
Also, those chasers who were excited to
Hereโs the Silver City wedge tornado, illuminated by lightning, moments before destroying the lives of many. This was an absolute grinder and an example of why we have to pay attention to tornado warnings.
Watching my stream last night and seeing all the โitโs not even a tornadoโ comments. Yes, it was. And here it is, grinding a neighborhood apart in Silver City. Are you sure that you donโt need a weather radio now? Are you sure you donโt want to figure out an action plan? Are you
I didnโt take this to say โoh look at me,โ I took this to say hey, take the tornado warning seriously everyone. Families displaced in Silver City. Nothing they can do but sit and wait.
Incredibly, this now famous and well known

near Jewell Junction, Iowa, around 5pm today, spun across several miles of fields. This is the final preview. Full chase video in HD will be out by Sunday. Licensing available.
Two things Iโm being canceled for by the softies regarding yesterday. A tornado ALMOST HIT MY HOUSE, folks.
1- I told my family to leave the house with 10 minutes advance warning. Our house will not be safe in a tornado. Farm debris is not good when flying. This is all

Wow you have instant trolls when you post donโt you? 30 seconds in and 5 assholes already. Itโs fixed now. Iโm guessing something got screwed up when purchasing from a third party. Errors cleared after midnight and all is working. Sending this via starlink now.
If someone or a company is willing to purchase and donate me an AED, I would appreciate it. We needed one tonight. It would have saved a life.
I just canโt foot the bill right now.
This was sent by a resident and frankly means a lot. The individual described chasers stopping to help as a "beacon of hope." Whether or not that phrase came to my mind is moot- I just think it's great to see people helping others.
Sorry for the language and rudeness today folks, I just wonโt stand politely by while someone says we should NOT thank our first responders (and those acting as such) because theyโre paid to do their job. First of all, not all of them are paid, and second, theyโre humans too.

Thank you to the first deputy who arrived behind me. I will find your name and I will make sure your administration knows that you are outstanding at your job. A true group of heroes (volunteer) here tonight after 50-60 structures hit.

is significant. Many homes damaged or destroyed. First responders and volunteers did amazing rescuing people. At one point they ran out of ambulances and started using a humvee to transport injured to the hospital.

Iโm not saying this to be an asshole, but please, can anyone thinking about asking, just not ask me โOMG WHATS THE WORST THING YOU SAW FRIDAY NIGHT?โ Thatโs a really insensitive thing to ask someone. Would appreciate it. Just got asked for the 5th time today. Need to turn off
Tornado near Williamsburg Iowa on I80 around 2pm central. YES it was down. Lots of reports of it. There was debris on the path. Also, have it as a small cone earlier on stream.

๐ช๏ธ ON THIS DAY- Last Year: A 10% tornado risk was placed over parts of southern Georgia. I had a strong feeling the day would produce something photogenic, and it did. When I saw the extremely low base of this storm over the somewhat rare chase friendly terrain, I knew it was

Before everyone talks about responsibility, since Iโm one of the biggest voices in storm chasing live streaming: Yes I passed a car in a no passing zone. The driver waved me on but that doesnโt make it right. They stopped to turn left but motioned to go around. I figured just go
After last monthโs Rolling Fork/Silver City tornado, a large portion of my viewers and supporters purchased a large amount of supplies ranging from trauma/combine pads to tourniquets and flashlights. The initial intention was to replace everything that I had used that night, but
Quit caring if the storm chase is a bust and be happy that you can be out at all. Many people wish they could have the freedom to chase storms in any capacity.
Would you stop or keep driving? Full -preview- is online on YouTube. I'll have the full video edited hopefully before the next severe weather event in the upcoming early week! However, first, we have storms to chase tomorrow. Good night.
Flash flood emergency now for Foley and Magnolia Springs, Alabama and nearby areas. Vehicle rescues reported. This is a potentially deadly situation. Find higher ground.

Yes. Yes we did. We received a call saying medical help was needed in Lockett. There was no on coming traffic. I worked for an ambulance company for many years. I have medical supplies. So does Brandon

Around this time, a fan of our YouTube channel was impacted and lost a home due to this tornado. There's a human side to these wretched things and seeing an email explaining what a horrible situation has unfolted from our fan first thing in the morning really sucks. For all those
You know what? Iโll be brutal: we used to say in the world of ambulance response โwell they canโt get any deader, so try.โ Was this child down due to trauma or medical reasons? Iโve witnessed two people now that were down due to MEDICAL REASONS not related to trauma post-tornado.
We just unboxed over 100 boxes of trauma and other supplies to 1) restock what was used this past week and 2) help supply trained and able chasers with tools and supplies to help those in need.

Check out the intense vertical motion on this compact tornado earlier near Mountain View, Missouri! Trees accelerating vertically at high speed. Intense tornado.
1/? Very few often care until itโs too late. When someone goes missing or something happens, everyone comes out of the woodwork, but where are even half those people when theyโre needed most? Does that statement upset you? Good. I lost a close partner to suicide 5 years
Everything on my car is functions, thanks. Sorry, guess Iโm not allowed to drive a Taurus. Most cops donโt have a TORNADO on the side of their car or a WEATHER STATION on the trunk. You are a serious example of an internet jerk.
