🧵I spent 50+ hours in #trains in past few weeks travelling to/through Belgium, Austria, Germany, France & Italy - here’s what I learned ⤵️ 1. Italian trains are by far most comfortable (space, socket & food) but also most punctual, followed by French and last Deutsche Bahn ❌

💰Trains are still way too expensive. I booked tickets months in advance but compared to friends flying to same destination, I paid an average of 50 to 80% more - cost if a key factor to make rail a real alternative, probably more than time.
