Leftist racists see Indigenous Australians as one great mass of victimhood, need, and helplessness. Of course, leftist racists also carry the burden of being their saviour.
@ChavuraStephen
From a bloke who's own identity is completely dependant on Original Sin and Proselytism??
Stephen your existential need to lash out in anger against Indigenous self-determination is as old as colonisation itself.
@ChavuraStephen
The Voice is a collectivist, statist, leftist idea.
It treats indigenous people not as individuals with agency but as a monolithic collective that speaks as one. It assumes that statist actions are the way to improve the lives of indigenous people.
Leftist “solutions” suck.
@ChavuraStephen
The missing big chunk of the $40bn/yr does not indicate that it is a 'burden' for the Left involved. 🙄
More like a gravy train. 🤑
The more rabid, the more they've grown dependent on claiming what is not theirs. 😈
@ChavuraStephen
@mtmcmill
There is far too much soup kitchen welfare mindset across our country and in the west. Would be more helpful if you supported giving people the resources they need to get ahead rather than trotting out tired political cliches
@ChavuraStephen
But back to the actual issue:
it is simply this
should the first nation Australians be mentioned in the constitution and should they be heard?
yes or no
Be pretty cold hearted to say no
@ChavuraStephen
What could be more racist than white folk continuing to silence Indigenous people, daring to assume that they know what is best for them? Hasn't that been quite the catastrophic human rights disaster over the past 235 years?
@ChavuraStephen
By classifying everyone as left or right is really trying to simply issues that are more nuanced. Not everyone thinks they are rescuing victims, most just think it’s fair to allow them a say before laws are made just for them.
