Who’s ok with the usually level-headed Stan Grant effectively expelling an Australian citizen from a tax-payer-funded building and programme, who was invited, was not disruptive or incendiary, and who said nothing slanderous or illegal? What happened to our civic rights?

@ChavuraStephen Agree with everything except for the “incendiary” bit. The wording was a tad biased, we have to acknowledge that. But in spite of that, Stan Grant need not expel this kid. I mean “biased”. Biased does not equate to false or factually inaccurate. And for that, #DefundTheABC

@ChavuraStephen Completely agree. He sought to aggrandize a sense of moral righteousness. Mob pandering over debating the merits of fair question. Nice to meet you the other day, BTW.👍

@RoadknightThe Even if you found the man's question disagreeable nothing excuses Stan Grant's disingenuous display of moral grandstanding. When did it become acceptable for politicians and journos to dismiss valid question under the guise of "offense" or hurt feelz?

@ChavuraStephen Not me. It was outrageous to say that discussing the situation from only one side was optimal. What about the any Ukraine hecklers shouting out to drown out Sasha. Disgraceful. Someone was in his ear directing that faux outrage.

@ChavuraStephen He’s not usually level headed. He’s been beating the drum of the “inevitable war with China” fear for some time now on the ABC.

@ChavuraStephen our civic rights, like our rights to privacy, trusted medical care, the right to work or own a business without government shutting us down or sacking us because of the 'mandates' have been disappeared by the #WEF4thReich and cheered on by public servants whose wages we pay.

@ChavuraStephen He asked his question earlier, which was answered. He was only booted after heckling and mocking others, and advocating violence, later

@ChavuraStephen I thought the questions were pre approved? But differing views should be discussed without ejection, maybe it's a demo by the public broadcaster to all of us this is how it is now?

@ChavuraStephen Reprehensible conduct by Grant and the ABC. No dissenting views will be allowed. They have to protect us from our own critical faculties lest we become zombiised by Kremlin propaganda.

@ChavuraStephen I didn’t see how the question was framed, but the show is called Q and A for a reason. It did seem rather cancel culture and totally against the programs ethos. Open discussion - a thing of the past it seems.
