@ClutchPoints Yep, the entitlement these opportunistic stars like Lillard, Simmons, Irving, etc show is definitely bad for the Association. Loyalty is a lost value.... players ignore contracts, devoted fan bases, and teammates to chase rings. Plus the selfishness is a bad example for kids.

@highkin Brog won't mind playing 30 min a game and not wearing himself out in an 82 game season, as the fourth highest paid player on the team. And it's unrealistic to think the Blazers will go a whole season with no guard injuries, and he knows that. Good chance he starts later on.

@wojespn The Blazers aren't required to trade him at all. Kobe Bryant demanded a trade in '07, and the Lakers told him no. He was forced to continue what turned out to be a long and successful career and legacy with a single team. The same thing can happen in Portland. Everybody wins.

@Zachppp That's easy. Herro makes 23 mil a year more than Maxey, for the same production. Blazers would move/sit one of their guards for Maxey. But they wouldn't pay luxury tax on Herro. It's a no brainer.
