My thoughts go out to the Smalley family and Douglas High community after hearing about the passing of Rod Smalley. Getting to know his kids, the 'ultimate father' descriptor makes perfect sense. He was in the stands at every event and especially hard to miss as a former UCLA LB.

SWCC softball finished fifth in a conference (ICCAC) with four nationally ranked teams and picked up a win against the No. 5 team in the nation this season - just a year removed from not fielding a team. That’s quite the year if you ask me.
