A tenant just emailed to say she printed copies of the CDC moratorium document in the Federal Register, along with the declaration form, and has delivered them to all 17 of the tenants who had eviction letters from the management company taped to their doors. AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

Hi Maryland tenants! I wanted to remind everyone that Maryland is a "Pay and Stay" state. You have the right to pay any and all back rent (including court-awarded late fees, court costs, etc), even on the day the sheriff comes to perform the eviction.

Also, in Maryland, a late fee cannot equal more than 5% of your monthly rent. So if your rent is $1000 per month and you pay late -- the late fee can't be more than $50.
