I know someone who’s sharing in the day-and-night care of a very ill old person, so that her last days can be spent at home in the presence of people who love her. Such ongoing acts of love are far more important than many of the subjects most of us tweet about. #JustSaying

In the bread shop... She’s carrying a baby Plus her handbag and shopping bag. She drops the handbag. Two of us bend down to pick it up, As you do. Correction, as we used to do. We remember, just in time To let her do it. We step back and realize yet again Why we hate 2020.
