Seeing a lot of opposed Vs unopposed again on here. Drives me mad, it’s all about the balance, no one way alone is truly elite. Spend years studying as many players as possible, don’t read one book, see one session or listen to one pod cast and form a fixed view! Rant over ⚽️

So today my 23rd season in academy football actually finishes. Shame how it finished, fantastic season with amazingly talented players and staff. Gutted the national final was cancelled, would have been a great game against City. Roll on season 24! ⚽️

The Sancho story is an interesting one. At the foundation phase was very much middle of the pack, did not dominate games! Shows what waiting for players who have a flair for 1v1 can result in, look at intent and learning, not the outcome on that given Sunday!

The day has come! Freddie’s handicap index (8.0) is now lower than mine (8.2). I am very irritated (at my golf) but delighted (for his golf) as for a boy that was only 10 a few weeks ago and weighs 2 stone wet, it’s a pretty unbelievable achievement. 🏌🏻‍♂️

I was asked to run the u14 @Middlesex_Golf team this year and we have made the @EnglandGolf South Eastern Region final. The County has such a great crop of young golfers which is testimony to the clubs, especially @enfieldgolfjnrs who’s players make up half the team. 🏌🏻‍♂️

Fred played two tournaments today, won the @WeeWondersGolf qualifier at Rebourn and came second in the @BJGT to an amazing round, congrats @SebsGolferDad . Well done @Chahrvin as well, really enjoyable day. 🏌🏻‍♂️🏌🏻‍♂️🏌🏻‍♂️
