Wrestlers need to study Chelsea. She is the definition of take any moment given to you and make it count. Even in a squash, she gets herself, her character, and the moment over.
I’m late to the party, but
@ImChelseaGreen
came out with the LGBTQ flag! This is true allyship! Representing a community that is targeted and under attack in Florida. Thank you for doing this. ❤️
#RoyalRumble
I am an openly gay wrestler and I’m very proud of that. 🏳️🌈 While there are many more of us than ever, current anti-LGBTQ (especially anti-trans) politics and the support for people like Rick Steiner show why our visibility is still an act of courage.
We aren’t going anywhere.
.
@MiaYim
is not only a PHENOMENAL wrestler, but an amazing person. I’ve seen her donate her ⏰ & 💴 to nonprofits,
motivate wrestlers to keep going when they were down on themselves, be available to friends during hard times, & just makes my life better. She’s a light.
It’s not political to show that LGBTQ people exist. We are wrestling fans. We are wrestlers. We are refs. We are bookers.
We exist. And we deserve to take up space and be represented. 🏳️🌈 🏳️⚧️
Damn. Can we just take a moment to appreciate all of the out LGBTQ talent in major wrestling promotions? Including Bowens who is one of the hottest acts in wrestling RN. This was unheard of only a few short years ago. 🏳️🌈 🏳️⚧️

I hope
@SonnyKissXO
knows how important she is to wresting/how valued she is by me & many in the LGBTQ community. A true embodiment of strength… not only in the ring but in succeeding in a business where being fem, Black, and queer is no easy task. Give her the whole bouquet.
All of us wrestlers may not say it, but wrestling can bring up so many insecurities around body image, likability, athleticism, character work, self esteem etc.
I really admire anyone who steps in the squared circle and tries to make a name for themselves.
I’m honestly CRYING on this plane to Portland. Beyond proud of
@MiaYim
for her return to
@WWE
. This woman has been through so much, has fought & persevered, & has always strived to help others along the way. I can’t expressed in words how beautiful of a person she is. ❤️
#WWERAW
Today for my
@Battleclubpro
main show debut, I wore the LGBTQ flag as a cape. Given all the anti-LGTBQ (specifically anti-trans) legislation/ rhetoric, I wanted to be visible/proud. This guy thanked me, said his trans daughter was in the crowd & it was meaningful to them both. ❤️
I was shocked when
@wallflowerperry
told me The Wrestling Club kids wanted to meet me.
In wrestling, everyone has comments: You have to look X way or tone down X about yourself to be a star.
I choose authenticity. To know these kids saw me for me & were still rooting for me…❤️
Boriken! My latest make up look is inspired by my Puerto Rican heritage and the indigenous people of the island: the Taino people. I felt very proud to represent my people and my culture at
@Battleclubpro
.
I am so PROUD to be gay 🏳️🌈, but at the same time I don’t want to be a “gay character.” It’s a hard balance to be authentic as a gay man & not also be seen as a caricature or put in a box
Personally, I want to be vers: masc, fem, sneaky, hard hitting, calculated…me.
#BrianBomb
Both
@ArianeAndrew
and
@huntjgallagher
have created an empowering, beautiful, accepting wrestling community with
@ThisisPTW
.
Thanks for having me and for making a safe community where we can perform our art and look fabulous while doing it!
The Wrestling Club has their own official belt. 🥹
Thank you
@WrestlingWrealm
for working with me on designing this amazing belt for my students! It’s absolutely incredible. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I remember watching wrestling in the early 2000s, seeing Jacqueline not prioritized by WWE & how the crowd would sometimes barely react to her.
Even as a boy, I could see the racism. So to now see Naomi, Bianca, & Jade being THE stars of the women’s royal rumble is EVERYTHING.
Representation matters. 🏳️🌈 Thanks for choosing to walk out with me
@BrianFPro
. You can have chose anyone else at
@Battleclubpro
, but you chose me. And that means a lot.
You are so talented. Keep taking space. ❤️
Something Positive about Wrestling Challenge:
The camaraderie amongst the wrestlers. Makes for great memories. These pictures remind us of those stories as we get on with years and forget things easier.

Being gay in wrestling brings conflicting emotions. One one hand, I want to be my authentic self. One the other, I sometimes feel I should hide parts of myself and not be “too gay.” As much progress as we have made in wrestling, it still can feel safer to be straight passing.
Shut up. 1) no need to downplay Keith to uplift Walter. And 2) stars come in all shapes and sizes. Walter was a star before his weight loss and he’s a star now in addition to his weight loss, not because of it.
This is what Keith Lee refused to do and now has become an after thaught.
Gunther is the ultimate model, of what you have to do, to become a STAR.
He worked for it. He has earned it.

So cool! I’m nominated for rookie of the year. Vote for me!
I’ve had great training at
@TheFallOut_101

. & the wonderful folks at

who gave me so many opportunities. I hope I’m making them all proud.

Ok
@EFFYlives
doesn’t know this story, but the first time I met him was 2016 or so. I was doing a Vice documentary with
@MiaYim
and he happened to be at the show we were filming at. This was in Florida. His character was over the top and “gay” and I somehow thought…
I love wrestling. But I especially love seeing LGBTQ talent do their thing. It takes courage still to be out, but there has been so much progress. I truly never imaged 10 years ago we’d be where we are today.
Sometimes you have to slap someone with Pizza & ketchup to teach them a lesson!
@boynamedrichie
won their match & I won mine. We face off at the next
@FullQueer
to see who becomes
#1
contender for the PrinceX of Pride championship. Spoiler: I’m winning & coming for
@BrookeHavok
I HATE when fans ridicule wrestlers for “botches” or mishaps (read the comments). Wrestling is a dangerous, albeit thrilling, sport. Mistakes are bound to happen regardless of how well trained or seasoned you are.
