That history cannot and will not be rewritten. The most natural question anyone should ask when learning about LGBT is why the L is first - that is why it is LGBT not GLBT. Extending LGB to extra letters preserves the pride of position - L first in honour for those women.

I wasn't "kicked out of @ManchesterPride ". Still very much attending and welcomed. Police acted proportionately in the face of assault and theft. Officer advised to report the incident by calling 101 and action was to protect me. Police don't take sides and didn't here.

After arrest at the Trans Remembrance Vigil, I was detained in a cell and interviewed under caution. Bail conditions: I cannot enter the Gay Village or attend Sparkle events. Police officer said he had "never heard Pythagoras' Theorem used as a defence before". I stand by it.

@Muttmere1 @ManchesterPride Bruised, but Showsec staff used no more force than was necessary to carry out Chloe Gregson’s instruction. I had been told by staff that my protest sign was ok. Signs were encouraged. I am proud to say no attendees assaulted me - this was @ManchesterPride staff alone. @gmpolice

By “chosen”, I do not mean there was a ‘Council of Nicea’ where it was decided. But the account carries truth, it is not an urban myth. I have heard the explanation from many others and personal accounts of how lesbians supported gay men, giving blood a famous example.
