I recommend, in the moments before sleeping each night, closing your eyes, recalling a precious memory until your heart gets warm, and then reviewing your day as a disinterested observer might, like you're watching a sitcom.

Dr. Ray Peat had similar experiences: He asked a cat to carry over a branch (the cat did), a colony of ants to leave his house (they did), and was asked to spray hummingbirds with a misting hose (he did). Humans and animals can playfully communicate when in a low serotonin state.

Serving the pregnant wifoid ice cream before bedtime. She thinks I’m a considerate and indulgent husband, but I’m secretly scheming to induce gestational diabetes and incubate a gigabrained 200IQ baby whose massive skull would leave even Akhenaten speechless.

This guy's channel is @styropyro_ and he's a modern-day genius mad scientist, highly recommend his stuff. He's not just some kid, he dropped out of grad school where he was an expert in the chemistry behind high powered lasers.

Thought the whole "DEW" (directed energy weapon) stuff with forest fires was pretty ridiculous until yesterday when I watched a kid on YouTube build one in his backyard

as an outsider looking on, from what i can tell, gen z has some kind of turbo cold war going on right now. gender relations for gen z men and gen z women are on par with the yugoslav wars. india pakistan levels of animosity. it might be irreconcilable.

Recently read “Coconut Oil” by Raymond F. Peat, PhD. It has joined “Learned Helplessness” and “Blake as Biological Visionary” on the list of articles I would recommend to people just getting into his work. I particularly enjoyed his description of eating 1 tbsp of coconut oil.
