Common theme I also see on podcasts is when dad commits suicide or dies prematurely. Obviously accidents of fate occur, but neglecting health to “provide” is a no-go. Also if you commit suicide, it haunts the son forever, especially as they approach the age dad did it.

Women don't make life easier, but the right one with the right personality can certainly make life much richer and more enjoyable. But that's the thing, it has to be the right one, otherwise she just makes life harder without making it richer, and then you're just miserable.
