The idea of a “straight pride parade” was correctly mocked across Twitter yesterday: it’s a ridiculous idea. But ridiculous or not, it’s being organized as a front by someone who has a history of organizing fronts for far-right provacateurs whose goal is harassment and violence.

Carroll's salary is $51,000 a year. Marty Meehan's salary (President of UMass) is $550,000. The SVP of health sciences makes a million bucks a year. Balance the budget from their salaries, not by laying off Bob Carroll and others.
