Here are the VOD platforms where you can watch my latest film, "Kurt Vonnegut: Unstuck in Time." Also, now on HULU! "A gorgeously rendered, unexpectedly moving appraisal of the life and craft of one of the best-loved literary voices."

It is with profound sadness that I report my dear, sweet wife, Linda Weide, of blessed memory, passed away on Christmas Day. My tribute to her in the L.A. Times only scratches the surface. If you click on the attached, please read to the end. You would have loved her.
I'll admit, I'm surprised and a bit overwhelmed by the response to my tribute to my late wife, Linda. It was just a simple obit in the L.A. Times, and I only posted it on Twitter when others started to. I'm trying to read and ❤️ every comment, but I'm falling behind...
THREAD: In October 1998, my friend
#LarryDavid
called, asking if I’d like to develop & produce/direct an HBO special for him. Little did we know that it would lead to a 12-season series over the next 26 years (and immortalize my name as a meme). This Sunday, March 24... (1/3)
Most every Saturday, Linda and I would lunch at a neighborhood café. This face I'd see across the table from me, this lovely open-hearted optimism, is what made me look forward to every new day. And this pic was taken after a diagnosis of a fatal disease. She was just the best.❤️
...Others make me shout, "Yes, yes!" Anyway, my deepest appreciation to everyone who's taken the time to read or ❤️ or comment on the tribute. You have made this new widower feel a little less lonely. And I know Linda sends her love, too. I'll post more photos when I can.
...I love that total strangers are confessing to tears and saying they can tell what a beautiful person Linda was. The fact that so many are getting a small taste of what I blessed with for 28 years is so moving. Many of the comments have made me cry, some make me laugh...
Some of you have already caught on, but the woman in the final scene with the late, great

was his real life wife, Joyce - his soulmate, the love of his life, his purpose. And by the way, she crushed it in the show!
Today, February 18, is the first birthday of my wife, Linda Weide, that she's not here to celebrate. It's been tougher for me than I expected. I'd like to make her a grilled cheese sandwich. Enjoy the "surprise" from a surprise birthday party I threw her in 2018. Volume up. XOXO
THREAD: Again, I am knocked out by the unexpected response to my tribute to my wife, Linda Weide. Because it has brought so many new followers to my page, I will start posting more anecdotes, memories and photos of her. Meanwhile, here's a song... (1/2)
(3/3) ...and a big deal surprise guest. It's been an honor to be involved with this groundbreaking series from its inception, and I thank the fans for their continued support and their laughs. Cheers, everybody. ❤️
This morning, in Paris, Woody Allen starts filming his 50th film as writer/director. In two months, he turns 87. And reports claiming he is retiring after this film are as accurate as those saying the title is "Wasp 22." And his father lived to be 100. Have a great shoot, Woody.
Posting this a day early because I'm back on the "Curb" set on Tuesday. But Happy Valentine's Day from Linda Weide and her husband. Hold your Baby tight tonight and let them know you mean it. xo
Well, this was an unexpected surprise. Thank you, Caroline Frost (
@FrostReporter
) of Deadline for making even more people aware of this beautiful soul whom I was honored to call my wife. ❤️

@HBO
/MAX will air my 30th episode as director of

' penultimate episode and features a couple of great guest stars, including

In the wake of Linda's death, there's been so much paperwork to deal with. Today, I had to fill out a form that asked for marital status. From habit, I started to mark "Married," stopped, then took a full minute before marking "Single" for the first time in 25 years. I hated it.
I recently learned that a reporter teaching journalism at Brooklyn College had given an assignment to his class, using the allegation against
#WoodyAllen
as a model for an exercise in critical thinking. I asked the professor about the results, and attached is his response. (1/7)
Laughter and music has kept me sane. Curb
has been a blessing since 2000. In this outtake I froze coming up with a company name and LD lost it with me just like in real life. ☮️🌈
Every now and then I just like to show off my beautiful wife, Linda. I miss her every second of the day. I feel like my life is now post script. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I remain a little shocked by all this attention, which has now gone international. But if people are moved by how wonderful my wife was/is, then I'm thrilled. I guess people still love a really good love story. This from Tuesday's Daily Mail UK.
How's this for nostalgia? In 2006, I told
#LarryDavid
that there were a bunch of fake Larry Davids on MySpace. He asked how to get rid of them, so I took this pic to send to MySpace administrators. But I don't think I ever sent it. Is it too late?
This is
#WoodyAllen
, who turns 87 today. He is one of the greatest filmmakers America has ever produced. He has just wrapped his 50th film as writer/director. The Farrow Industrial Complex® wants you to believe he did terrible things 30 years ago, but it’s provably untrue. 1/2
July 11, our 25th wedding anniversary, but my first without Linda. Today, I'll be weighing immeasurable gratefulness against incalculable loss. "I have found the one whom my Soul loves." (Song of Songs.) As I've said before, for those who never knew her, I'm sorry for your loss.
Some people have asked where I was during the broadcast of the final "Curb" episode Sunday night. I was in Desert Hot Springs, having dinner with my friend Bill Marx (yes, son of Harpo). As usual, it was time well spent.
September 30, 1994, I walked into the Café Aroma in Studio City and flirted with a gorgeous woman. That night, in my journal, I wrote, "I think I may be in big trouble." I had no idea how big. 29 years later, even with her gone, she's still the best thing in my life. ❤️ ❤️ Linda
Happy New Year!
A lot of caring people have checked in with me this week to ask if I’m “all right,” knowing that my dear wife, Linda Weide, passed away on X-mas Day last year. Since the 1-year anniversary was approaching, they thought it might be especially rough on me (1/13)
For those of you who have just arrived and are questioning the origins of the

Last week, I finally told "The Truth About

Last night, I was honored to attend a screening of the remarkable documentary "The Eternal Memory" by my talented friend, Maite Alberdi (R). On the left is Paulina Urrutia, who is the film's subject, along with her husband, Augusto Góngora. I almost hesitated to go because (1/3)
Last night, I got a phone call from my friend Terry Zwigoff, who was re-watching/binging the early seasons of Curb and had a question about one of my episodes. Nothing unusual on the face of it, but what was I doing when he called? Re-watching "Ghost World." What are the odds??
The Irish have done it again. "The Quiet Girl" is a beautiful, unforgettable, heart-tugging film, and worth your time. Streaming now.

Amazing. From this 1987 panel on minority rights,

Friday Nov. 11 would have been the 100th birthday of
#KurtVonnegut
. Consider celebrating by watching my doc "Kurt Vonnegut: Unstuck in Time," only 39 years in the making - now on Hulu and all the major VOD sites. Also pick up one of his books, if only to read a passage. Cheers.
Today's honored house guests were Jade Marx (Groucho's granddaughter) and her son, Jaxon (12). We watched "Animal Crackers" with my running commentary. It was Jaxon's first time viewing an entire Marx Bros. movie straight through. I think he was sold.
Last night, I was searching through my sock drawer, and found this untouched pair of Façonnable socks. I realized Linda bought them for me years ago, and I had never worn them. It felt like a gift from her, from beyond. And yes, I cried as I put them on. ❤️
For those who knew her, and those who wish they knew her, here is a 9-minute video tribute that I put together to honor my late wife, Linda Weide. Keep some tissues handy and let me know your thoughts. (Thank you, editor Will Neal.) ❤️
I love coming across photos of Linda I haven't seen in forever. Here she is in Rome, where we spent New Years, 2005-06. Look at that sweet face! How lucky was I to have this woman by my side for 28 years? She was the best thing ever to happen to me.
If you are a reporter, writing about the Woody Allen case and mention the Mia/Dylan Farrow allegation, but do NOT mention that two state investigations concluded Dylan was not abused by Allen and charges were dismissed, then you are not a journalist. You are a gossip columnist.
Woody Allen's 50th film, "Coup de Chance," his first foreign language film (Français, natch) opens in France on September 27th. No, I don't know release dates for any other territories. I just know advance word is terrific. You just can't keep an innocent man down.
#WoodyAllen
's two daughters with Soon-Yi, Manzie and Bechet (great young women, btw) adore both their parents. Despite all the crap they have to put up with from ignorant strangers, Manzie speaks out from Instagram that they're doing just fine. I thought you'd like to know.
In a recent
@LATimes
Op-Ed,
#DylanFarrow
asks "Why Has the

Revolution Spared
#WoodyAllen
?" It's a good question, and I try to answer it in my new essay, "Q&A With Dylan Farrow."
Many of you have asked me how
#WoodyAllen
is doing. I’ll be honest, he’s having a pretty hard time. Barely sleeping, barely eating. Pretty depressed. He just can’t quite get over the split up of Daft Punk.
Today is Linda's second birthday in absentia. I still left a card on her nightstand, as I always did. This photo of her and our beloved dog Jake is the screen image on my phone. I'm not 100% certain of an afterlife, but I do like to think of them as together like this. ❤️❤️❤️
I did my laundry tonight and wound up with that single, white, running sock. I opened the dresser drawer with all my socks and asked out loud: "Anyone here missing their mate?" Then found myself adding, "Besides me?" And yes, I broke out laughing at my own stupid joke. 💕
Countless people still think I created those "Directed by Robert B. Weide" video memes all over the internet. I didn't, but here's on I wish I could take credit for.
Time to bring out these old favorites again. If you're interested in the
#WoodyAllen
information you've been denied, please read all 3 pieces. (Woody haters encouraged not to read them. You'll blow a fuse.) PLEASE RE-TWEET.
As you can see, the surprise was pulled off without a hitch. She had no idea what was awaiting her on the other side of that door. Though she had already been given her diagnosis, she maintained the ability to experience unbridled joy. She was one of a kind. My soulmate.
Since
@RonanFarrow
has greatly shaped public sentiment about

, what happens when we learn that Farrow's work is entirely untrustworthy? I bring you

Linda, during our annual pre-Xmas window-shopping day in Beverly Hills, 2013. We bought very few windows that year. I miss this girl so much, but the photos make me smile. I'll say it again -- how lucky was I?
I just came across this photo of Linda. July 8, 2018. This cheerful, life affirming photo really captures the soul of my soulmate. Look at that face when I tell you this was taken AFTER her diagnosis of a progressive, terminal illness. That's who she was. ❤️❤️❤️
