First look at Disney’s ‘Playdate With Winnie the Pooh,’ premiering this Summer.
The musical shorts focus on a young Pooh Bear as he enjoys fun playdates with his friends.
Due to a licensing issue with a guest star, Hanna-Barbara created an episode of the "New Scooby-Doo Movies" exclusive to Japan. The only proof of this lost episode's existence is the title card.
In late 1981, an unknown company in Chicago created a bootleg Donkey Kong game titled "Mad Ape". This bootleg got a gimmick where the timer had reached zero, the game would go to "ape mode". Due to hardware issues, the sprites and the game over screen weren't rendered correctly.
Fun fact: Tex Avery used a real stripper for this scene. His unit filmed the stripper first, then used that footage for rotoscoping. And this was the end result.
To give Justin Timberlake credit, he once said he practiced doing cartoon voices growing up. It's still amazing he nailed a near-perfect capture of Don Messick's Boo-Boo voice.
I'm kinda starting to wish that people viewed Hanna-Barbera as "the studio that literally saved an entire industry and started a new industry at the same time". Yet, most still see them as "that one animation studio who made cheap cartoons".
I'd say this was more likely done by younger animators that joined the studio in the '70s and early '80s. Newly hired animators at Hanna-Barbera usually would test out their skills by doing fluid stuff like this. Plus stuff like this stays within the budgets.
As much as y'all want Coyote Vs. Acme to see the light of day, we MUST support this one. It's the first Looney Tunes animated feature that is NOT a package movie of shorts.
'THE DAY THE EARTH BLEW UP: A LOONEY TUNES MOVIE' has wrapped production.
The first ever theatrical fully animated ‘Looney Tunes’ movie is set to hit theaters this Fall.

I just noticed something funny. Universal is the distributor for the movie. They once sued Nintendo over Donkey Kong back in the 80s, only for the studio to lose. Now, the biggest historic opening for animated movie is a Nintendo property; and it's distributed by the studio.
Like I said before, Discovery is in for a world of hurt when a class action lawsuit is filed against them. And this could get the FTC involved to investigate them for antitrust violations. Nothing good will come out for them.
HOLD THE FUCK UP. So, this animation purge wasn't even suppose to happen until all the creators were notified but Discovery just pulled the plug and nobody found out about it until the day of?
And apparently the royalties were supposed to go to artists' healthcare.
If you're wondering if this will be the end of Pingu, it's not. Other voice actors in the Pingu franchise had carried on Bonomi's legacy, since he established the "Penguinese" language for the series.
From what I had heard, kids had a huge negative reaction towards this during the screenings. The movie executives were very confused over this. It's because the Scooby & Scrappy-Doo Show was airing daily at the time and kids loved Scrappy.
"Hanna-Barbera ruined the entire American animation industry."
In the 1950s, the major Hollywood studios were shutting down their cartoon units. When Hanna-Barbera opened their doors in 1957, they literally saved the ENTIRE American animation industry from collapsing.

Casey Kasem enjoyed Lillard's performance in the movies. So when Kasem retired in 2009, he gave his blessings and had personally chosen Lillard to inherent the role of Shaggy. Basically, dude was chosen by the OG Shaggy to become the new Shaggy.
Mad Ape was never released to the public, due to poor reception from test locations. It didn't help that its use of digitized ape screeches had startled players. The roms were then discarded, thus making this bootleg game a piece of lost media.
Here's better context to understand the short:
1. The bad animation of the knock-off characters is a jab at the animation quality control of Tiny Toon Adventures.
2. Warner executives want the Looney Tunes be like Disney characters, where they all act like best friends.
You know that visual gag of SpongeBob tearing himself apart like paper in 'Pizza Delivery'? That visual gag was predated by a 1930 Terrytoon titled 'Spanish Onions'.
