My brother has successfully - so far - had his old liver and kidney removed, had the new organs transplanted in, has been in & out of it but is also alert and talking. Many docs are checking in on him, and he's already hungry! That last bit felt like extra good news. 🥳🥰🥳🥰🥳

I'm with my brother. He's doing well. He no longer needs to get dialysis bc now both his new liver and kidney are working. He's got a long recovery ahead of him but I'm so grateful for the donor who gave him a chance at life when he lost his. 😭💗

Sad update, the kitty didn't make it through the night. 😔 He was probably too far gone for intervention, but I'm still mad AF that the wildlife rescue wouldn't take him, the humane society said they had no vet that day & couldn't take him & my own cat's vet failed us, too.
