Ya know, if the new vibe for freestylers is hitting clips in bot matches, I’m 100% for it. It’s basically freeplay but with “opponents” to hit clips on but it doesn’t effect any real players or their experience in RL. The clips are still crazy so I see no downside to this.

It hurts to say but after this result I think OCE has kinda cemented themselves below APAC in regional rankings. Their #1 seed lost to APAC and the only wins they took all Wildcard were against SSA. The drop off from last season to now in terms of global presence is wild.

To everyone saying that Optic, FaZe, and other orgs in RL are only dropping out because of the off-season: yes and that isn��t a good thing. RL’s comp scene is so focused on RLCS that when it ends orgs just leave because they have no idea if or when there are off-season events.

Honestly I'm all for the downfall of 6mans if people just switch to hard comming ranked instead. 6mans has already been losing legitimacy over the last year and having a private server hold that much power in an esport was a problem in the first place so I welcome the switch

I understand its not a perfect show but it was run the best possible. With only 2 casters total, breaks are inevitable and we cannot cover every single match in a 14 MATCH BRACKET. Acting like this is how as a community we scare away sponsors, I am severely disappointed.

Hot take but we need to start valuing RLCS Major wins WAY more than we do now. People always talk Worlds over everything but before RLCS X, Worlds happened almost as frequently as Majors. Majors also have more teams than any Worlds pre-RLCS X, they’re arguably harder to win too.
