the dark forest hypothesis is so lame it sounds like something an edgy 14 year old would come up with. If we met aliens I think the best course of action would be to make out sloppy style with them, then spend 10 hours chatting and learning about eachothers cultures and societies

Did you read the 3 Body books or watch the show? I'm curious because I've been waiting years for a critical mass of people to know what they're about because I have THOUGHTS.
(that I prefer Trek's perspective on the cosmos maybe gives an indication what my thoughts are)
